FACAA & City of College Park · Residential Stability Program

Your home should feel secure. We're here to help you keep it that way.

If you're a College Park resident falling behind on rent, mortgage, utilities or HOA payments — or you're a homeowner facing an urgent qualifying minor repair — you may qualify for help through the Residential Stability Program.

FACAA and the City of College Park have partnered to help eligible households address housing problems before they become housing crises.

Start by checking your address. It only takes a moment to see whether your home is within the program service area.

Assistance is subject to eligibility verification and available program funds. Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance.

How it works

  1. 1
    Check your address

We'll confirm that your home is within the City of College Park program service area.

  2. 2
Tell us about your household and housing need

Complete the application so FACAA can determine whether your household may qualify.

  3. 3
    Complete financial literacy

Financial-assistance participants complete FACAA's two-hour financial literacy course as part of the program. You'll receive instructions when it's time to complete this step.

  4. 4
    Eligibility review

FACAA reviews your application and required documentation to determine program eligibility and the assistance available for your household.

  5. 5
    Assistance and support

If approved, FACAA makes payment directly to the appropriate verified provider or vendor. You'll be notified when your assistance has been processed. FACAA may check in after assistance to understand how your household is doing.

Who the program serves

Residents of the City of College Park

Your home must be inside the incorporated city limits. A College Park mailing address alone is not enough — we'll check this for you.

Households at or below 80% AMI

Household income is compared against the official published income limit for your household size.

Households with a verified housing need

A past-due rent, mortgage, utility or HOA obligation, or a qualifying minor repair for a homeowner.
